ILm & IoL

We were delighted to have passed our ILM centre visit with no recommendations for any changes for the 4th year in a row!

This is testament to the hard work and high standards delivered by our Ilm team – Dani Duric who sorts out all the logistics for running each programme seamlessly, Chris Brown our excellent programme facilitator and Fiona Spillane our vital internal verifier for all the assignments You can read more about the team here.

ILm set stringent criteria for any centre delivering qualifications so this is an achievement we are very proud of.

If you are interested in running management development programmes with a qualification for your people at the end of it, talk to us about our Ilm offering.

Institute of Leadership accreditation

Since our accreditation with the Institute of leadership 3 years ago we have doubled the number of accredited programmes we are running and we have seen a number of programmes complete this year with some fantastic celebration and certificate giving events

If you would like to find out how you could be supporting your managers and leaders with a programme recognised by a leading leadership body, talk to about our IoL programmes

Our events:

We have partnered again with a range of organisations who are leaders in their field and share our goal of creating more inclusive respectful and safer workplaces.

Webinar with Irwin Mitchell

We joined forces with Law firm Irwin Mitchell who had also conducted research on the impact of banter at work and we ran a webinar based on a conversation between Irwin Mitchell partner Glenn Hayes and our director Stella Chandler. You can watch the webinar again here  https://we.tl/t-aBsqTBZGNx.

For more on our survey results and how to prevent banter crossing the line contact us for a confidential discussion.

Podcast with Lawcare

We recorded a podcast on workplace banter with legal mental health & wellbeing charity Lawcare. Down to earth advice from Stella Chandler and Elizabeth Rimmer on what to do when it stops being funny. You can listen again here  https://bit.ly/3XPAiQF

We are also lined up to record a webinar for Thenetworkone – the leading independent agencies network for agencies in advertising, PR and media. This will help members to think about how to manage banter in their workplaces and understand where the tipping points are.

PPMA The Public Services People Managers Association

We are delighted to be speaking at the PPMA conference on “Banter; making or breaking barriers” in April next year.

We are donating to MIND this year

Inappropriate behaviour and banter which crosses the line can have a serious impact on mental health – it can make us feel ground down, undermined and excluded.

Mostly this is unintentional – more misjudged or misguided – but it won’t change unless we help people to know where the lines are and what the impact can be.

Talk to us about how we can work with you and your people to change this – to make sure we don’t have the headlines that we have had this year for McDonalds and the CBI.

And if you would like to make a donation our just giving page is here

Please email or contact us on 01903 732 782 for more information about how we can help tackle the behaviour that prevents an inclusive culture and create a more positive culture for your people.
